This addictive dumpling dipping sauce is my absolute go-to whenever I’m making dumplings at home. It’s the perfect match for pan-fried, steamed, or boiled dumplings. This sauce has a perfect balance of savoury, spicy, tangy, and fragrant flavours. Just drizzle it all over your dumplings and enjoy!
ingredients:
- 2 tbsp neutral oil
- 1 tsp garlic, minced
- coriander, chopped
- green onions, chopped
- chilli, chopped
- 2 tbsp water (or water from boiling the dumplings)
- 2 tbsp light soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Chinese black vinegar
- 1 tbsp chilli oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds
steps to making my addictive dumpling dipping sauce:
- Combine garlic, coriander, green onions, chilli and sesame seeds in a heatproof bowl. Carefully pour hot oil into the ingredients to release the aroma.
