ingredients:
- 600ml water
- 6 dried Chinese red dates
- 8 dried longan
- 2 slices ginger
- 1 tbsp dried goji berries
- Brown sugar (optional, but I find the dried longan makes it sweet enough)
steps:
- Cut the red dates in half for better flavour extraction.
- Add all the ingredients in a pot and bring the water to a boil. Let it boil for 5 minutes, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.
- After simmering, pour the drink into a hot drink flask and let the tea steep for 30 minutes (or overnight) before serving.
