Pad Kra Pao (Thai Pork & Basil Stir-fry)

ingredients:

5 garlic, minced

3-4 bird eyes chilli (more or less depending how spicy you want it to be)

250g minced pork

1 cup chopped green beans

1 egg

a handful of fresh basil leaves

Sauce:

1/2 tbsp oyster sauce

1 tbsp light soy sauce

1 tbsp fish sauce

1 tsp dark soy sauce

1 tsp sugar

2 tbsp water

steps:

  1. Add cooking oil to a heated pan and fry your egg. Use a spoon to baste the oil over the egg. Then set aside.
  2. Add minced garlic and chillies to the pan. Fry until the garlic starts turning golden brown.
  3. Add minced pork and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes or until cooked. Throw in the chopped green beans and stir-fry for a minute. Then pour in the stir-fry sauce.
  4. When everything is cooked and well combined, turn off the heat and throw in fresh basil.
  5. Serve with rice and enjoy!
