Ep 1: Good Soup, Good Skin - Tomato Egg Drop Soup (番茄蛋花湯)🍅🥚 In this series, I’m going to share with you my fav soups! Soups are hydrating and full of nutrients, which is great for skin 😌 For those who love the tomato and egg combo, this comforting soup is perfect for u! Ingredients: 3 tomatoes, chopped to wedges 2 eggs, beaten 1 green onions, chopped (garnish) 5 cups chicken stock 2 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water 1 tsp soy sauce 1/2 tsp sugar 1/2 tsp sesame oil 1/4 tsp white pepper powder 1. In a pot, saute tomato wedges until softened. Add salt and sugar. 2. Add chicken stock and bring to boil. Add cornstarch mixture. Stir until soup thickens. 3. Add soy sauce and white pepper. Lower heat and slowly pour beaten eggs in circular motion. When egg ribbons start to set, gently stir. 4. Normally this is served on a hot plate and you can choose to have it with rice or spaghetti (which I always found weird) and a side of fries, and this is a “western inspired” dish, but everything about it is so Hong Kong. Ep 1: OnlyFaan 🍚 - Taiwanese Braised Minced Pork Rice (肉燥飯) “faan” (飯) means rice, and in this series I’m going to show you the sexiest rice dishes 🙂‍↕️ This dish is similar to lu rou fan (滷肉飯), which is also another popular Taiwanese braised pork dish, but this recipe uses minced pork instead of pork belly chunks. The sauce for this dish is also a little more runny than lu rou fan due to less fat content. But both are amazing in my opinion 🥰 I’m also using my pressure cooker from @instantpotuk to cook this for 20 mins. thank you ig for letting us post 20 photos now 🙏 i’ve been to japan before when i was little but never tokyo so it felt like visiting for the first time again. and it was so fun i just wanna stay longer 🥲

1 - pre food baby selfie 🤰🏻
2 & 3 - roast pork ramen and tsukemen from soushi menya musashi. both were so so sooo good but i personally love the ramen more, the broth was rich and delicious
4 - view from shibuya sky! was a little cloudy that day, but the view was still beautiful
5 - gyukatsu from gyukatsu motomura. that was the first meal i had when i landed and it SLAPPED 😮‍💨
6 - shibuya 🥰
7 - the famous kaisendon from tsujihan. i went to the ark hills branch which was conveniently next to my hotel and didn’t have to queue at all. VERY very delicious.
8 & 9 - kappabashi kitchen street. omg i’m not even kidding i wish i shopped here for a DAY bc i frickin love looking at cute cutleries like it’s actually therapy for me
10 & 11 - beef udon from udon shin. as an udon enthusiast, this was 10/10 💯 but i waited 2 hours for a seat so idk if ill go again
12 - MATCHA. ICE CREAM. 🍵
13 - gotokuji temple! 🐱 defo visit if you’re a huge fan of (lucky) cats
